Rainy Day Romance {STYLED SHOOT}

Y’all. I am SO. EXCITED. about these pictures. I’ve been staring at them in complete awe since I got them. I’ve selfishly hung onto them for far too long, mainly because I honestly don’t know what to write… and not in a normal way- but more in a ‘I don’t want to mess this up’ kind of way. I mean, these are so gorgeous… I’m not sure anything I write would be worthy.

But I’m going to try…

Originally, this wasn’t planned as a “Rainy Day Romance” photo shoot. We hoped to have a lovely set up in the courtyard at 5 Eleven Palafox. We had it set up for all of about 5 minutes before the rain let loose, and it was gorgeous…..

So of course we scrambled to get everything inside- and thankfully, we had a great team and we got everything in very quickly. We set everything back up inside and…. voile! Still drop dead gorgeous, and even a bit more romantic I think. Its hard to say, but I think some of the last pictures we got were some of my favorite— Love birds walking in the rain? Give it to me all day, every day.

A side note about the whole ‘rainy day’ thing being romantic…Rain on your wedding day….. it is what it is, and what you make of it. It rains A LOT here in Florida. There’s no way around that, so go ahead and make your peace with possibly having rain on your wedding day. But the best thing you can do? Make a RAIN PLAN with your WEDDING PLANNER- and one that you love just as much as the original (or a very close second). If you pick the right venue (ahem… like 5 Eleven Palafox) then rain isn’t a problem. 511 is SO versatile, and gorgeous inside and out (and soon to be even more so once the upstairs is finished! so excited for that yall!!!). So your guests will think it’s just part of the plan to be inside such a beautiful historic building. (I might be just a little biased since 5 Eleven is where I had my own wedding reception, but hey- it really is great!)

I feel like I could go on and on…and on about this photo shoot. If you can believe it, this is just the start of all the gorgeous photos we have! Crazy right?! I will for sure be writing about it- especially to highlight all the different vendors (listed below) that helped put it together. They really are the best of the best and I LOVE working with them.

As always- Please be sure to send all my wonderful “Friendors” some love!!!
